3 golden tips for successfully selling your boat!

1. Right Price

Research your market and make sure that you understand what boats and marine equipment in the market place are selling for. In order to improve your chances of obtaining a sale it is important that you have a realistic expectation on your asking price.

2. 1st Impressions Last

It is so easy to forget the importance of taking a good photo. Remember to take a photo of the exterior, the stern, the helm and the interior. It is always good to ensure that the photo that shows the boat (or equipment) in the best light should be at the top of the list, working your way down to the interior of the boat.

3. Maximizing Inquiries

A common mistake that so many people make when listing a boat or marine equipment for sale is that they do not make themselves contactable. Ensure that you have at least two of the following forms of contact listed in your advertisement to ensure that potential buyers with queries can easily contact you before losing interest:

A. home phome number
B. work phone number
C. mobile phone number
D. email address
E. add webpage address

Also make sure that you include your international country and national area code with your phone numbers.
